Tips For Doors During A Move

When you walk out of your old front door and into your new one, and through every door in between these two, take note of the following care tips for your doors:

Add Padding.

To protect the door frames from damages, cover these areas with soft padding. While it is probably unnecessary to cover the frame from the very top corner to the very bottom corner with padding, cover the majority of the door frame’s mid-section.

There are various options for the padding material you could use, including actual door padding (which can be purchased or rented), bubble wrap, or blankets with velcro or bungee cords.

Bring Stoppers.

Both for when you move out of your old house and into your new house, bring along a few door stoppers, which can be used to prop open the doors both inside and outside of your home.

Doing so will allow you to keep the doors open while your moving team carries items to and from various places in your home.

And be assured that the Move Eaze team will keep your doors in tip-top shape throughout your move. Leave it to us!
